Welcome to the Congregational Church of Laconia, United Church of Christ!  Throughout its 185 year history our church has served as a vital presence in the Lakes Region.  We are a welcoming community…a worshipping community…an educational community and a community of service.  We are willing to think, explore new ideas, care about one another and reach out with acceptance and compassion.  We are a blend of young and old, conservative and liberal, refugee and New Hampshire native united in one fellowship of faith.  Explore our website, give us a call if you have any questions, and join us for worship on Sunday morning. We hope to see you soon because “wherever you may be on life’s journey you are welcome here!”

Open and Affirming

Congregational Church of Laconia Open & Affirming Statement
adopted November 19th, 2017
Wherever you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here!
We, the Congregational Church of Laconia, United Church of Christ, join our brothers and sisters in this community, this nation and this world who are committed to work for justice and peace. We are guided by the all-inclusive love of Jesus in our affirmation of others. We walk humbly with God and stand with those who suffer discrimination, isolation and alienation to create a safe place, striving for wholeness and healing for all.
We strive to be open to and affirming of all people regardless of race, ethnicity, religious belief, faith history, socioeconomic status, age, marital status, physical and mental ability, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
No matter who we are or where we are on life’s path, through grace we make this journey together so that our love for God and for our neighbors may flourish.
