We had a great opportunity this summer to give back to a community in need! Rev. Neil organized a wonderful mission trip for all of us to the Maine seacoast this summer. We worked on the housing rehabilitation project organized by the Maine Sea Coast Mission. The purpose of the project/mission is to provide home repairs and property weatherization for low income home owners so that their dwellings are safe, warm and dry in the Maine Seacoast area. This part of the coast of Maine is far beyond the tourist traps and usual recreational locations for which Maine is known.
